We see them everyday, slogans for our favourite fast food place, or for the nearest Wal-Mart. No one truely can see how deranged massive multi-million dollar corporations are. They are the driving force of the American economy, and they are right in bed with the American government. It is evident that America is bent on world domination since they are sharing the same interests as the corporations. Capitalism in its truest form is to be the only business. To be so successful that you have no competition. That is the main goal of ANY business no matter how small, and no matter how much any person actually denies it. This being the fact most of the funding for political campaigns come from corporations, and lobbyist groups (funded by corporations). They tell the government what to do, because without them the Senator, or even the "beloved", (and i use that term sarcasticly) George W. Bush may soon find themselves shifted out of power. Is it hard to believe that Dick Chaney, the Vice President of the United States, owns one of the biggest oil and petrolium companies in the United States? No it is not, because it is the truth. What kind of influence might this have on a person with so much power, and a person such as George W. Bush, who is easy to convince of anything, because of his child like intellect.
This all being the case, which is undeniable, corporations are the key players in the American government. They are the ones currently calling the shots. The only people to benefit from all of the death, and loss in Iraq has been the corporations. Yes, the corporations have been investing in construction companies in Iraq and are making a pretty profit off of the senseless killing and bloodshed. That is the capitalistic way, to make a dollar and not care if someone gets hurt in the process, or if they most of all get
exploited. America now stands with an army of soldiers who have broken morale, and are extremely fatigued. They are the most
exploited, because they are being forced to fight a "war/slaughter" for an government lead by corporations. If any person even so tries to resist the American ideal, or way they are labelled as a "Terrorist", driving a feeding frenzy for the media.
Here is another scary piece of information. CNN, the major reporter for the war in Iraq since day one has been getting massive tax cuts from the American government ever year since that time. Why you might as? The reason being that CNN is running pro-recruitment, and pro-war ads, in hopes of boosting recruitement. General electric, another massive corporation, has also been receiving tax cuts for the past while since the beginning of the war. Their reason, general electric manufactures bombs. Yes thats right they make bombs, all the way up to nuclear war heads for the American government. They lobby to receive tax cuts, and still sell the product the government. Since the market is closed, because of the non-proliferation treaty America cant really buy bombs from other countries, so they can charge whatever they want for the bombs. This is greatly cutting into the American economy as they are facing a soon great depression than what was seen in the 1930's.
Going back to the American economy, Wal-Mart, one of the biggest corporations on the world. Was recently fined last year 20 million dollars for having illegal immigrants working in their store with their knowledge. They would force them to work overtime, and not get paid for it. If the workers refused to work they would go to the FBI and have the deported. This is capitalistic
exploitation at its finest. The land that was proclaimed as the land of the "free". Where a man can come to raise a family is quickly desolving.
Knowing all this now will you be able to go to Wal-Mart and get that pair of sneakers, which were probably made by some child in Asia? Yes you probably will, because that is what Capitalism is. Turning a profit no matter who or what gets hurt in the process. The real question is would you care if that child in the sweat shop was your son or daughter?

Having ensured the continued flow of cheap oil from the Gulf by waging a war with Iraq, and after his boss, George Bush's ouster from office by Clinton in 1992, Dick Cheney turned his attention to the corporate world. In 1993 he joined the American Enterprise Institute in Washington as a senior fellow. In October of 1995 he became president and chief executive officer of the Halliburton Company in Dallas, Texas. He also serves on the boards of Procter & Gamble, Union Pacific and Electronic Data Systems Corp.
I hope this answers your question Sunny. Have a great day! =)
