How Much Can You Spend

``The National Law Center for Homelessness and Poverty reports that over 3 million men, women, and children were homeless over the past year – about 30% of them chronically and the others temporarily. In many cases people are in and out of the homeless system, which includes shelters, hospitals, the streets, and prisons.`` (1)

This is a very sad, but real statistic. An additonal 5 million people are on top of the 3 million. These people make up the lowest of the lower classes. This does not make them slackers, weak, or not human beings. This people are exploited by the capitalistic system. Instead of funding more homeless aid for these people, or increase government spending to have them working, they would sooner waste billions on the war.

``Using a “top-down” calculation based on U.S. budget appropriations, the group estimates the total money spent or allocated comes to about $255 million per day, or a little less than $1.8 billion a week. That figure includes both military and non-military spending on things like reconstruction``(2)

The amount of money can even be broken down further to see how much it costs a year, which i find is much better than finding out how much it is a week. $255 million X 365 days= $93 billion dollars a year is a massive figure that is not exaggerated as you can see. This does not even factor in the cost of life insurance, and wrongful death. This money could also be spent on other important health care, education, and actual crime prevention (Like the people who commit murder inside the country like a stabbing, or drive-by shooting). They would sooner spend it on a war were innocent civilians die everyday in the amount now of 100 per day(3)

What would you do with the money!

Corporations and America

We see them everyday, slogans for our favourite fast food place, or  for the nearest Wal-Mart. No one truely can see how deranged massive multi-million dollar corporations are. They are the driving force of the American economy, and they are right in bed with the American government. It is evident that America is bent on world domination since they are sharing the same interests as the corporations. Capitalism in its truest form is to be the only business. To be so successful that you have no competition. That is the main goal of ANY business no matter how small, and no matter how much any person actually denies it. This being the fact most of the funding for political campaigns come from corporations, and lobbyist groups (funded by corporations). They tell the government what to do, because without them the Senator, or even the "beloved", (and i use that term sarcasticly) George W. Bush may soon find themselves shifted out of power. Is it hard to believe that Dick Chaney, the Vice President of the United States, owns one of the biggest oil and petrolium companies in the United States? No it is not, because it is the truth. What kind of influence might this have on a person with so much power, and a person such as George W. Bush, who is easy to convince of anything, because of his child like intellect.

This all being the case, which is undeniable, corporations are the key players in the American government. They are the ones currently calling the shots. The only people to benefit from all of the death, and loss in Iraq has been the corporations. Yes, the corporations have been investing in construction companies in Iraq and are making a pretty profit off of the senseless killing and bloodshed. That is the capitalistic way, to make a dollar and not care if someone gets hurt in the process, or if they most of all get exploited. America now stands with an army of soldiers who have broken morale, and are extremely fatigued. They are the most exploited, because they are being forced to fight a "war/slaughter" for an government lead by corporations.  If any person even so tries to resist the American ideal, or way they are labelled as a "Terrorist", driving a feeding frenzy for the media.

Here is another scary piece of information. CNN, the major reporter for the war in Iraq since day one has been getting massive tax cuts from the American government ever year since that time. Why you might as? The reason being that CNN is running pro-recruitment, and pro-war ads, in hopes of boosting recruitement. General electric, another massive corporation, has also been receiving tax cuts for the past while since the beginning of the war. Their reason, general electric manufactures bombs. Yes thats right they make bombs, all the way up to nuclear war heads for the American government. They lobby to receive tax cuts, and still sell the product the government. Since the market is closed, because of the non-proliferation treaty America cant really buy bombs from other countries, so they can charge whatever they want for the bombs. This is greatly cutting into the American economy as they are facing a soon great depression than what was seen in the 1930's.

Going back to the American economy, Wal-Mart, one of the biggest corporations on the world. Was recently fined last year 20 million dollars for having illegal immigrants working in their store with their knowledge. They would force them to work overtime, and not get paid for it. If the workers refused to work they would go to the FBI and have the deported. This is capitalistic exploitation at its finest. The land that was proclaimed as the land of the "free". Where a man can come to raise a family is quickly desolving.

Knowing all this now will you be able to go to Wal-Mart and get that pair of sneakers, which were probably made by some child in Asia? Yes you probably will, because that is what Capitalism is. Turning a profit no matter who or what gets hurt in the process. The real question is would you care if that child in the sweat shop was your son or daughter?

****CHANGE**** PLEASE NOTE THE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****CHANGE****

Having ensured the continued flow of cheap oil from the Gulf by waging a war with Iraq, and after his boss, George Bush's ouster from office by Clinton in 1992, Dick Cheney turned his attention to the corporate world. In 1993 he joined the American Enterprise Institute in Washington as a senior fellow. In October of 1995 he became president and chief executive officer of the Halliburton Company in Dallas, Texas. He also serves on the boards of Procter & Gamble, Union Pacific and Electronic Data Systems Corp.

I hope this answers your question Sunny. Have a great day! =)

American Imperialism Vs. Islam

When a person of the Western world hears the world Islam today a lot of things come to mind. If you are a resident of the United States, which I am not, then you would automaticly  think "Terrorist". This image is being beating into the head of every human across the globe for the past 5 years. Mass media is controlled by the government through tax cuts, and other private funders who would benefit from the information that is delievered. The reason for this is to have the masses believe that their lives are in danger from this person who is in the Middle East. This is far from the truth. American media protrays this image of Islam as a person who hates freedom, white people, the American dream, and Capitalism. They make you believe that they have sworm a blood oath one morning when they woke up. The reason Islam is affronted to America is because of what America has done to the Middle East.

If we take a look into the war in Iraq and why it originated than everything will be much clearer on why most Islamic factions do not care that much for America. The weapons of mass destruction that America was originally looking for were given to Iraq by America. You might ask, Permanate Revolution, why were the WMD's given to Iraq if they believed Saddam Hussien was not "Stable". The reason was America had made quite an enemy out of Iran, and they were not pleased with America at all. America needed a person to fight their war since the last war that they actively got involved in, Vietnam, did not turn out to be a victory in America's favour. Saddam was unable to conquer Iran, and lost major amounts of capital in the war. He needed to get rich fast, so he seen his neighbour Kuwait as a golden apple in a desert. This brings us to the first "Desert Storm". America felt that it was in best interest just to push Saddam just back into Iraq, and not remove him from his position of power.

This brings us to current day. America felt that it was needed to remove Saddam from his position of power well after he had gassed the Kurdish people of Northern Iraq. They were facing an energy crisis, and need oil to fuel their excessive and wasteful lifestyle. America then attempts to over through an individual that they originally put into power since he is no longer benefical to the "American Dream".

The Middle East before the American lead invasion of Iraq is like, but not the same extent, a great house. Each country representing a person in the household. The reason that most nations in the Middle East hate the United States is because they don't like homewreckers. America started the war between Iraq, and Iran. This would be the same as a neighbour telling lies to you about your wife so would fight, and he might be able to wisk your wife off her feet. The other example would be the invasion itself. How would you feel if you were at home one evening when a man comes to your front door and you answer. Only for him to walk in the house and punch your wife in the face, and slap your children. This is why Middle Eastern countries feel the way they do. They were violated for something that they had, and were shown no respect for their beliefs, religion, and countries. What would you do if the same was done to you?

Oppressive Nature

I would like to thank you for showing interest in my blog. I have started this blog to spread the truth about capitalism, and American imperialism. People should know what they are actually being told by the mass media is nothing more than concentrated neo-conservative manifest destiny. As you can see I have chosen to make my posts on a popular capitalistic site. The reason I have done this is to expose people to information they may not have been exposed to, because they may not have searched previously for leftist information. It is ultimately though a choice. I merely wish just to display the information that I have researched and that is warped by the mass media for their own political gain. So again I would like to thank you for taking the time to look over my blog and have a great day.

P.S.: I did NOT choose the ads on my blog they were already their as part of the assumption that I am a die hard capitalist, and that I care about a pro-war on radical religious groups. That is not the case at all. Almost all war is fueled by the major factor which makes up capitalism, greed...
